Back to Demi Burnout

Well, I've started a very slow return to EQ. While I still don't feel like playing it all the time, I do find it something to do now and again. I dunno, I just can't seem to get back into it. Course the difficulty to find groups nowadays ain't much help though.

Soloing all the time tends to wear, and was in part what caused this latest Burnout. The game is more interesting when there's a small group. Raids are nice sometimes, but I could never handle a lot of them.

Sooner or later I'll decide what I'm going to really do, but for now, I log in every now and again, chat, solo, and maybe kill stuff with a group. Otherwise, it ain't me on. Months ago, as the Burnout was coming to, I told the second of AdP I'd let him use my Mage for the NToV raids. This tends to work out since I rarely on on Fridays due to work. So it doesn't bother me. I also seem to be picking up some fair AA xp. Logged in a few days ago and found that I have 5 now, and I sure don't remember having 5 bofore. So who knows, it may be working out some. Only time will tell, and heck, I may get an item. Maybe.

The new Point System makes my getting stuff a bit tough since I don't know if Brit would ever toss out anything for me. But with my char being used, I have picked up some Raid points. So, I can get points without my actual being there. Free stuff, something that is rather hard for me to object to.

Hey, Red, have you tried LDoN adventures? It's easier to get a group in LDoN usually, than it is a pickup group for exp'ing or raiding. At least, that's my exp, but then I'm a cleric, so maybe it's different for me. Sorry to hear about your burnout...it's not that much fun...

Have you tried a Beastlord? They rock for soloing...and I find a strange bonding going on with my pet...more so than any other pet because it's the same one all the time. Of course, you know a little bit about that with Bob, don't you? Laughing

what server do you play on? depending on the level of your characters there is a chance we could group or something and see about getting something a little less boring going on then the standard grind or at least a more enjoyable grind
